If you push a thick medical needle( the ones they use to inject cows with) from the top surface down to the cavity where your lip has not formed, your cast should be better.
I dont think you need to make the lip any thicker the vents should solve your problem.
Cheers Jez
www.africanpewter.blogspot.comJezhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06196570236295989791noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4778716536535546614.post-70598598789083705042010-12-21T07:54:35.504-08:002010-12-21T07:54:35.504-08:00Yes, I've tried cuttlefish casts, they are gre...Yes, I've tried cuttlefish casts, they are great as they are so immediate, I even made a funky one by pressing my fingers into them to carve out a shape. Unfortunetly this has a lot of undercuts and detail so I've got to use rubber. Hope your Hubbie likes the razor on xmas morning! :)SteamPunkGlasshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16131598659682458353noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4778716536535546614.post-68927971091070002522010-12-21T07:28:44.298-08:002010-12-21T07:28:44.298-08:00Hi there, I love the eyeballs. We recently did it at our silversmithing class and it was so much easier that delft casting. I made some really cool pieces including cuff links for my hubbie! I am looking forward to also giving him the fab razor I bought from you. Merry Christmas, Jane xJanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11742664269417361941noreply@blogger.com
